The 1962 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 3.8L is an iconic sports car considered one of the most beautiful and influential cars of all time. The E-Type Series 1 is known for its timeless and elegant design, which was characterized by its long hood and slim body. It had a streamlined and aerodynamic shape that was revolutionary at the time. The date of manufacture is November 2, 1962. This is an original and virtually complete "early" FHC. The car needs a complete restoration. Originally the car had a cream exterior and a red interior. The car has matching numbers, with correct and original data plate and body tag and the matching Moss four-speed transmission. The car comes with some loose parts such as seats, center console and chrome hardware as shown in the photos. A folder with some history and purchase receipts come with the car. Also, the car comes with a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Certificate To get a good idea of the lot we recommend you come to the viewing day.
