Description

The Citroën SM was a luxury Grand Tourer produced by the French car brand Citroën between 1970 and 1975. It was a special car because of its unique combination of French style, advanced technology and impressive performance. The 1972 SM was equipped with a 2.7-liter V6 engine developed by Maserati. This engine produced 170 horsepower. The SM also had an advanced hydro-pneumatic suspension that ensured a smooth and comfortable ride even on bumpy roads. The design of the SM was futuristic and distinctive, with a long nose and short back, and a characteristic "shark nose" that ran the full width of the front of the car. The interior was equipped with leather upholstery and many luxurious features. The Citroën SM was a car with excellent performance and had a top speed of about 220 km/h. The car was often praised for its unique combination of style, comfort and performance and is considered one of the most iconic cars of the 70s. The cars on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the cars. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the cars and the engines is unknown to us. You can inspect the cars on the viewing days for which you have to make a reservation through our ticketshop.
