Description

The Rolls Royce 25/30 was a luxury car produced by British automaker Rolls Royce from 1936 to 1938. The model succeeded the 20/25 and was succeeded by the Wraith. The 25/30 had a 6-cylinder engine with a displacement of 4,257 cc and was capable of producing about 82 horsepower. The car's top speed at the time was around 129 mph. The 25/30 was offered with a variety of body options, including limousines, convertibles and tourers. The car was praised for its comfortable ride and luxurious interior, and was often purchased by the wealthy and nobility. It is a unique car of which only 1,201 were produced. The value of a Rolls Royce 25/30 varies greatly depending on the overall condition of the car, mileage and history of the vehicle. In good condition, the value can range from several tens of thousands to several hundred thousand dollars. The 25/30 offered here is in drivable condition. The exterior has some imperfections, but otherwise looks clean. Looking at the interior, renovation of the seats has begun. There is no key with this car, but it can be started by a button. Currently, the radiator needs to be checked. Various documentation comes with the car. The following is known about the history of the car: The car was hand built by coachbuilders Hooper of London. Newly ordered by the owner of Lamerton Manor it goes through a few owners until it sets sail and goes to America. Thanks to a window sticker, it shows that it stayed in New York in 1981. It also spends time in Michigan and Lansing during its 35 years in the United States. The car returns to the UK at some point in 2014. From there it was sold and is now present in the Netherlands.
