This is a historic racer based on a 1934 Lancia Augusta. The car has a rich history and many of its owners between 1950 and 1979 are known or traceable. These owners include the actor Robbie Coltrane. The car has competed several times in past VSCC events at Donington, Oulton Park and Cadwell Park, among others. At some point the original block was swapped for a British Salmson. The car was delivered new as a chassis only, then fitted with a convertible body. Currently, it is generally in clean, drivable condition. The engine has been rebuilt and is a 4 cylinder 1,500 cc block. To get a good idea of the lot we advise you to come to the viewing day.
