The Fiat Nuova 500D, produced in 1965, is an iconic model that is part of the Fiat 500 series, one of the most beloved and recognizable small cars in the world. This series began in 1957 and quickly became a symbol of Italian design and urban mobility. The 500D is powered by an air-cooled, 499 cc twin-cylinder engine. Although modest in power, the little engine was extremely efficient and perfectly suited to the car's light and compact build. This made the 500D surprisingly agile. The Fiat 500D retained the charming and timeless design of its predecessors, with its characteristic round shapes and compact dimensions. The car was designed to make the most efficient use of space, resulting in a surprisingly spacious interior given its small exterior. A distinguishing feature of the 500D was the so-called "sunroof," a rolling roof that could be slid open along the length of the roof. This Fiat was originally delivered Dutch. This version has the suicide doors. This car has always been family owned and has been able to stay inside all its life. The car is original and has the original color. Last year, the fiat was technically and motorically restored by a restorer of oldtimers. Among other things, cables and pipes have been replaced and the battery has been renewed. To get a good picture of the lot we advise you to come to the viewing day.
