Citroën ID 19 Coupe Chapron Concorde 1962

The 1962 Citroën ID 19 Coupé Chapron Concorde is a very rare and special vehicle, a paragon of French luxury and elegance on wheels. This model is the result of the collaboration between Citroën and the famous French coachbuilder Henri Chapron. Chapron was known for his beautiful, custom-made bodyëns that he designed and built for the top end of the automotive market, and the Citroën DS and ID models were no exception.

The Citroën ID 19 Coupé Chapron Concorde featured a unique and elegant design that followed the basic lines of the original ID and DS models, but with a distinct Chapron signature. Modifications often included a two-door coupé body, modified rooflines, and sometimes unique interior and exterior details that distinguished the cars from Citroën's mass-production models.
