This 1957 Triumph TR3 began its life under the California sun, but has undergone a very extensive modification. Officially though registered as a 1958 model with Estonian registration, which sounds like a well-kept secret. In 2010, this Brit car received a serious makeover of some’n $150,000 in the United States. This was an absolute passion project of the previous owner, with this being his last asset. This car shines in red, and is totally unafraid to show some muscle. Among other things, it has custom wheel arch wideners, chrome bumperettes, and dual side exhaust pipes. Inside, it's like a tasteful appearance. Bucket seats coated in beige vinyl. But this TR3 has a modern twist with a Pioneer stereo system and a Moto-Lita steering wheel. The digital odometer? Well, it reveals that it has only seen a few miles. Under the hood is a 347ci Ford stroker V8, giving it a rebellious edge. An Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and a custom intake with dual taper filters. With a Tremec five-speed transmission and a Currie 9″ rear axle, this TR3 is ready to gum the rubber off the tires. To get all this right on the road though, it has a custom suspension. Àla Mustang II-style independent front configuration and a four-link rear configuration. This is unique in the automotive world, a one of a kind which is unlike any other in motorsports is.
