Porsche 911 2.0T Targa with Engine

The car offered here is from the collection of BP Classics. The following information was made available by the seller.

This Dutch registration is from 1978, suggesting that the car may not be originally Dutch. However, according to the decoding list, it is a 1969 model 911T 2.0, and the engine is year and type correct for the car. So there is a reële possibility that the car and engine have matching numbers. The engine has been disassembled and comes in a pallet box. Many parts are visible, including cylinders that are all stamped with the same date (7-68), which is correct. There are also a set of carburetors, cylinder heads, and so on, along with the gearbox.

When we bought this project, a lot of body work had already been done, including the installation of a whole new floor, tank support, front end, right front fender, sills, both rear wings and rear plate, and so on. The whole car has been assembled correctly and with proper measurements, but some parts still need final welding in a few places. Only the panel over the hood under the rear window is still missing.

Before placing the project in our storage, we sandblasted the body and put it in epoxy primer, so that it is well protected against rust. We also added the doors, tailgate, hood, front bumper, right front screen and a new left front screen, front and rear windows, and so on. These are all used parts. We will check our inventory for any missing parts from the project and add them beforeóór the viewing day.
