Description

The 1981 Suzuki SC100 GX, also known as the "Whizzkid," is a compact, rear-wheel-drive car that was especially popular in the United Kingdom and Japan. It is a striking car due to its small size and distinctive styling. The model produced in 1981 was part of the only generation of the SC100 manufactured between 1978 and 1982. The SC100 GX was powered by a 1.0-liter four-cylinder engine, good for an output of about 47 horsepower. This engine was relatively powerful for the size of the car, which gave it a lively driving experience. The car had a distinctive hatchback shape, with a sloping rear end and a very compact build, which made it ideal for urban environments and narrow streets. The SC100 GX was equipped with a four-speed transmission and had a fairly standard interior for the time, but was relatively well-equipped considering its market segment. Although it was not a luxury car, the SC100 GX was appreciated for its reliability and economic value, both in terms of purchase price and maintenance costs. It is a popular model for collectors of classic and eccentric Japanese cars. The Sport coupé offered here is a rather unique appearance. The car is in drivable condition. It was originally delivered new in the Netherlands. Some welding work has been professionally done and updated. There is a valid MOT until 26-02-2026.
