Description

The Willys MB jeep, also made as the virtually identical Ford GPW, is a small, general-purpose four-wheel-drive off-road vehicle used by the Allies in World War II, produced in large numbers by the United States, from 1941 through 1945. The Willys (and Ford) jeeps were regarded by many Americans, including General, and later President Eisenhower, General George Marshall, and Pulitzer Prize-winning war journalist Ernie Pyle, as one of the important means by which World War II was won. The small jeep gained a certain iconic status due to its good construction and performance, great availability, and positive media. This car presented here is an original Ford Jeep. It runs nicely and drives, brakes, steers as it should. The transmission also functions fine. It is a USA car that probably stayed in Germany and always has. A beautiful original Jeep! German papers. To get a good idea of the lot we recommend you come to the viewing day.
