The 1965 Austin Healey 3000 Mark III Convertible is an iconic British sports car known for its performance, style and driving experience.

The Austin Healey 3000 Mark III, also known as the BJ8, was produced between 1964 and 1967. This model was the last and most refined version of the famous Austin Healey 3000 series, which began in 1959. It was an evolution of the earlier models, with improvements in performance, comfort and driving experience.

The 3000 Mark III had a classic British roadster style with a low profile, long hood and short rear end. The soft top was folding and offered the option of driving open or closed.

The interior was more luxurious than that of its predecessors, with more attention paid to comfort. The dashboard featured wood veneer and the seats were upholstered in high-quality leather. The car has two seats with ample legroom and comfort for the driver and passenger.

This Auatin Healey features a 2.9-liter (2912 cc) six-cylinder inline engine with an output of about 150HP. Attached to this is a 4-speed manual transmission with overdrive on the third and fourth gears. This provided a smoother driving experience at higher speeds.

The Austin Healey 3000 Mark III was known for its excellent driving experience, with a good balance between sportiness and comfort. The independent front suspension and rigid rear axle with leaf springs provided responsive steering and stable handling. The front disc brakes and rear drum brakes provided reliable braking performance.
