The 1976 Porsche 930 3.0 Turbo is known as an iconic model that laid the foundation for the legendary 911 Turbo series. This was Porsche's first production car with a turbocharged engine, and it was a groundbreaking move for the brand. Originating at a time when motorsport and technological developments went hand in hand, the 930 Turbo brought the knowledge gained from racing to public roads. The result was a car that not only delivered unprecedented performance for its time, but also offered exciting and challenging handling - a trait that earned it the nickname "Widowmaker."

The 3.0-liter six-cylinder single-turbocharged boxer engine produced an impressive 260 horsepower, which at the time was enough to make this sports car one of the fastest production cars in the world. The combination of its low weight, wide rear fenders, and iconic "whale tail" spoiler made the 930 Turbo an instantly recognizable and highly coveted car. This particular example came from a private collection, which only adds to its exclusivity and collector value. With a low read mileage and service and history documentation, this Porsche is a rare find for the true enthusiast.

The original engine and transmission of this 930 Turbo are still present, making it 'matching numbers' - a crucial factor for collectors who value originality and authenticity. The fact that this car is in drivable condition adds another layer of appeal, as it means that it is not only preserved, but also still capable of hitting the road and displaying its illustrious performance. The combination of speed, history and an almost mythical reputation makes this Porsche an icon that was ahead of its time and still plays an inspiring role in the automotive world today.

In order to get a good idea of the car, we advise you to come to one of the viewing days.
