The 1982 Renault-Alpine A310 V6 is an icon within the French automobile industry. This car embodies the sporty spirit and technical innovations that the Alpine brand has been known for since its inception in 1955. Alpine began as a niche brand founded by Jean Rédélé, who achieved success in rallying with small, lightweight cars. The brand quickly became synonymous with agility and performance. In 1971, Alpine introduced the A310, a model designed to continue the heritage of the legendary A110, but now aimed at a wider audience seeking comfort and performance. In 1976, the A310 V6 was launched, featuring a more powerful engine and modified design, making it a full-fledged GT.

This particular A310 V6, originally delivered in the Netherlands, is a true time capsule. The fact that the car has never been on a circuit and has remained 100 percent original makes it special. The V6 engine, from the famous PRV collaboration between Peugeot, Renault and Volvo, delivered impressive performance at the time. Yet it was not only the brute power that made the car so attractive, but mainly the combination of low weight, aerodynamic design and a perfect balance between comfort and sportiness. The A310's design was praised for its sharp lines and futuristic appearance, something that still makes it a standout today.

What makes this Renault-Alpine A310 extra special is the care with which it has been maintained over the years. Always safely stored in a garage, it has stood the test of time superbly. No exposure to the elements, no traces of track use; this car is a rare example of a classic sports car preserved in its original condition. This gives the car not only aesthetic value, but also historical importance, as it is a pure example of the engineering skills of the early 1980s.

While the A310 may not enjoy the same fame as the A110 in terms of rally performance, it has always held a special place in the hearts of car enthusiasts. The A310 marks a period of transition for Alpine, with the brand reinventing itself while remaining true to its racing DNA. The model was popular among drivers who wanted not only a sports car, but also one that was usable on a daily basis.

The A310 V6 has always been seen as a car for connoisseurs, people who appreciate the nuances of driving pleasure. The sound of the V6 engine, the light and precise steering feel and the sensation of speed without making it over-the-top are some of the characteristics that characterize this car. This car is a subtle reminder of an era when driving pleasure and craftsmanship were paramount, without the need to impress with excessive power or adornment.

The car is neat in terms of exterior, only the headlights both have a crack. New glasses come with the car. The interior of the car looks complete. Only the sky has become loose and therefore removed, an ailment known with this type of car.
