Volvo Amazon 1967

This Volvo Amazon, delivered on December 22, 1967 by Nyström Bil in Jönköping, has been owned by one family since new. After the death of the original owner in 1985, his daughter took over the car and cared for it with the same love and care. Now, after a well-deserved retirement from her driving career, this unique Amazon is offered for sale. With only two owners within the same family and exceptionally well-preserved documentation, this is a car full of history and authenticity.

Exceptionally Well-Maintained and Authentic Condition

This Amazon is a beautifully preserved example in the distinctive color combination Sand Yellow with brown upholstery. The car has never been restored, carefully maintaining its original condition. The bodywork is tight and shows the original welding points, and the undercarriage is undamaged.

Technology and Drivability

The mechanical condition is good. The engine starts immediately and runs smoothly, the transmission shifts fine, and the clutch works as it should. The brakes are powerful, and the car steers well and comfortably. Although there is a slight noise at the rear axle over thresholds, the car otherwise drives quietly and pleasantly. A simple service may be needed, as the car has been little used in the past year.

Interior and Exterior

The interior is beautiful and shows minimal signs of use, especially in the rear, highlighting the minor wear. The mats, door panels and headliner are in clean condition. A small crack is present on the dashboard, and the fuel gauge flashes slightly. The exterior shows minor imperfections such as blistering around the headlights and light oxidation on the chrome, but the overall appearance of the paint and chrome work is very good.
