This 1948 Morgan 4/4 is truly a special appearance. As one of only 140 examples built between 1946 and 1950, this model is rare and sought after. It is hard to say how many still exist, but the number will be small. This particular example has recently been fully restored and is in beautiful condition.
Perfectly restored body and interior
The car has been beautifully painted and the paint looks stunning. The classic color scheme perfectly suits the Morgan's character. The original steel wheels, including hubcaps and tires in the correct sizes, complete the picture. The underside of the car is as well cared for as the rest of the car, and the chrome and lights are in top condition. The bumpers and hood fit perfectly, indicating a meticulous restoration.
Authentic interior with classic details
The interior is upholstered in black leather and fitted with black carpets, providing a stylish and authentic look. The instruments and controls are in excellent condition and have retained their original charm. Despite the Morgan's compact dimensions, the interior offers a comfortable seating position for any driver. The dashboard has been neatly reupholstered and adds to the car's well-kept appearance.
Powerful performance and smooth handling
The Morgan is powered by a 1.2-liter four-cylinder engine, good for 39 horsepower, mated to a four-speed manual transmission. Although modest, the engine provides enough power to keep the lightweight 4/4 running smoothly with modern traffic. The all round drum brakes function superbly and contribute to the authentic, classic driving experience that only a Morgan can offer.
