Ford Model T Speedster Frontenac 1912

This rare Ford Model T Speedster, from the year 1912, offers an unparalleled time travel and breathes history. Built by the prestigious Frontenac, a brand that gained fame in the '10s and '20s with successes in motor racing, including two victories in the famous Indianapolis 500, this model is not only an eye-catcher, but evokes nostalgia for any classic car enthusiast. Imposing performance and special technology

Equipped with a 2,896 cc four-cylinder engine, this Ford Model T originally produced 22 horsepower. When it was converted to a Frontenac racer, however, larger valves and an overhead valve (OHV) configuration were added, bringing output to a whopping 65 horsepower. This allows a top speed of 140 to 150 mph, which in a car like this feels like double that! The classic two-speed transmission was replaced with two combined Wilson transmissions to effectively transfer the extra power.

Original details and authentic patina

The unique look of this Speedster comes to life with its original patina and classic details. The fenders are attached with leather straps, and running boards with brass stepplates connect the front and rear fenders. The Ford Model T's lowered frame offers a lower center of gravity, ideal for stable performance. Behind the comfortable seats is an oval fuel tank and a small luggage box, complete with valves to tension the suspension spring bulbs.
