The 3.5-liter V8 engine, paired with this rare transmission, delivers a powerful driving experience, making this car a true collector's item.
Very good condition and matching numbers
This 280 SE has been professionally repainted in the original color ‘Weiss’ (DB050) and features a beautiful dark blue leather interior, which enhances its elegant appearance. The sheet metal and bodywork are in very good condition, with perfect panel applications. The car has been well maintained, with a solid underbody and original matching numbers 3.5-liter V8 engine. It is not only pleasing to the eye, but also a technically well cared for example.
Powerful V8 engine and impressive performance
The 280 SE 3.5 was equipped with a 3.5-liter V8 engine producing 200 hp, thanks to the then innovative electronic fuel injection. This provided significantly better performance than the six-cylinder versions. With its cast iron engine block and aluminum cylinder heads, this engine was an engineering marvel in its day. This example rides smoothly and offers the comfort and power that Mercedes was known for at the time.
Rare and complete with documentation
Of the 3,270 3.5 Coupés produced, only 122 came with the rare sunroof and manual transmission. This unique car comes with the original 'datakart', confirming its authenticity.
