This Ford Mustang Convertible is a special example from the first production period of the Mustang, also known as the 1964.5 generation. Ford produced only 28,833 Mustangs in this early version before the 1965 model year officially began, making this car among the rarest Mustangs. This example is finished in the original factory specifications, with the iconic color Sunlight Yellow and a white “Crinkle” vinyl interior, giving the car an authentic look.
Pretty Restoration and Options
The car has been restored to beautiful condition. Every panel of the car was renewed, as well as all chrome strips and rubbers, to bring the Mustang to pristine condition. The paint has been carefully reapplied to the original color, allowing the car to retain its classic look to the fullest. This Mustang is also equipped with attractive factory options, including power steering, powerful brakes, a sport console, a power convertible top, and deluxe hubcaps.
Mechanical Overhaul and Attention to Detail
During the restoration, the technology was overhauled. The powerful 289 cubic inch V8 engine and automatic transmission were both thoroughly overhauled. Every attachment, from hoses and cooling to engine mounts and clutches, was updated, adding to reliability and driving pleasure.
