The 1938 Peugeot 302 is a beautiful example of the interbellum, a time when the French automotive industry was driven by elegance and innovative technology. The Peugeot brand, with a history dating back to the 19th century, has always had a strong reputation for refined design and technical progress. The 302 was introduced in the late 1930s and was known for its aerodynamic lines, inspired by the streamlining trend that was popular at the time. This influence is clearly visible in the streamlined front and the beautiful integrated headlights behind the grille – a detail that was far ahead of its time.
This particular Peugeot 302 has been registered on Dutch plates since 1981 and comes from a private collection, which adds to its exclusivity. The car was put away in running condition a long time ago, but has not seen the road since. This means that maintenance will be required before this 302 can hit the road again.
