Description

The Mercedes-Benz 230 SL Pagoda is one of the most iconic models in Mercedes-Benz's rich history. Introduced in 1963 as the successor to the 190 SL and 300 SL, the 230 SL offered a perfect balance of sportiness and elegance. Designed by Paul Bracq, the car was soon nicknamed the "Pagoda" thanks to its distinctive hardtop roof with a slight slump, inspired by the shape of Asian pagodas. With its refined lines and technical innovations, the 230 SL established itself as a timeless classic.

The Mercedes-Benz 230 SL Pagoda offered here has undergone a complete restoration while maintaining originality and is in exceptionally clean and good driving condition. The car is finished in the factory correct color Papyrus White (DB 717), which contrasts beautifully with the beautiful red leather interior. Important detail is that the original engine and gearbox have been preserved, as well as bodywork and chassis, which adds to the authenticity of this classic.

Since 1989, the car has been owned by its second owner, who has ensured an extremely thorough restoration. This was performed by renowned professionals which resulted in a car that is optically and mechanically and an excellent bev.. The restoration is also documented with an extensive set of invoices, with each step carefully recorded. One example is the interior, on which more than €10,000 was spent, among countless other investments that underline the value of the car. The richly documented maintenance history gives a full picture of the care and dedication this car has received over the years.

To get a good idea of the car, we recommend coming to the viewing day.
