Description

The 1987 Ferrari Mondial Cabriolet 3.2 is a model that holds a special place in the history of the Maranello-based marque. Whereas Ferrari was usually known for its sharp two-seaters, the Mondial offered a different approach: a practical and comfortable 2+2, without compromising on performance or character. It was a car designed for drivers who wanted to combine the Ferrari feel with practicality and open driving pleasure. In convertible form, it added an extra dimension, with the possibility of experiencing the sound of the atmospheric V8 even more intensely.

This Mondial Cabriolet 3.2 comes in the classic Ferrari color scheme: Rosso Corsa with a black leather interior. The combination exudes timeless elegance and fits perfectly with Pininfarina's design, which managed to combine subtle lines and functional proportions. The black soft-top hood completes the look and ensures that the car has a balanced and stylish appearance both open and closed.

The Mondial has not only a smooth and refined driving experience, but also the distinctive sound and character of a classic Ferrari engine. The enhanced performance and reliability of the 3.2 engine made it one of the best versions within the Mondial series. This model came with a five-speed manual transmission, keeping the driving experience pure and involving.

What makes this car extra special is its provenance. Since 1989 it was owned by Monsieur Petitjean, a well-known collector in the south of France. He used the Ferrari regularly until the year 2000, after which it was given a prominent place within his collection as a static exhibit. This means that for a long time the car was well preserved and not exposed to the usual wear and tear. Nevertheless, the car has recently undergone a full service, making it roadworthy again.

In addition to its rich history, this Ferrari comes with the original owner's manual and service book, neatly stored in a leather case. The original jack and tool roll are also present. These are details that make the difference in a classic Ferrari and contribute to the originality and value of the car.
