The Porsche 914/6, introduced in 1970, was an innovative sports car that reflected the collaboration between Porsche and Volkswagen. This model combined the design of the 914 with the powerful six-cylinder boxer engine, which offered a significant performance improvement over the four-cylinder variant. Weighing only 950 kilograms and producing 110 horsepower, the 914/6 was praised for its excellent handling and driving experience. This model was unique of its kind and offered an entry into the world of Porsche for a wider audience.
The Porsche 914/6 was equipped with a five-speed manual transmission and had a top speed of about 200 mph. The design featured the distinctive Targa style, which offered an open driving experience while maintaining body integrity. Although production of the 914/6 ended in 1972, the model remains an important part of Porsche history and a sought-after vehicle among collectors to this day. To get a good idea of the lot, we recommend you come to the viewing day.
