Description

The Porsche 914, introduced in 1969, was a striking sports car that was the result of a collaboration between Porsche and Volkswagen. Further developed in 1974, this model was known for its mid-engine design and excellent driving balance. The 914 was available with several engine options, including a 1.7-liter four-cylinder and the more powerful 2.0-liter variant, meeting the needs of car enthusiasts in both performance and driving pleasure. The bodywork, designed by Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, combined a sporty appearance with practical features, such as removable doors and a sunroof panel, which contributed to the car's versatility.

In the 1970s, the Porsche 914 was positioned as an accessible entry-level model for the Porsche family, which helped the brand expand its reach. The car was appreciated for its innovative design and was a forerunner in sporty, affordable cars. With its lightweight construction and responsive handling, the 914 left a lasting impression on car enthusiasts and collectors. Production of the 914 ended in 1976, but its impact on the car market remains felt to this day. To get a good idea of the lot, we advise you to come to the viewing day.
